In the wake of the devastating earthquake that struck near Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on Jan. 12, several organizations and individuals at Smith have joined together to contribute to relief efforts.

Global Action Against Poverty Everywhere founder and president Heather Stone '10 is chairing the Smith Haiti Relief Committee, composed of members from groups such as SGA, GAAPE, Smith African and Caribbean Students Association, the Newman Association, MassPIRG and other interested students. Robbins prize for her paper, "Pseudo-triangulations, Rigidity and Motion Planning."
