The Campus Shuttle Van

The rumors are true -- there really is a shuttle van that drives around campus every night! Luckily, this page is the only stop you'll need for information. Check it!

SHUTTLE HOURS:
  • Sunday - Thursday: 8PM - 12AM
  • Friday - Saturday: 9PM - 1AM

SHUTTLE STOPS:
  • Wilson House Steps
  • Neilson Library
  • Sage Hall
  • Unity House Parking Lot
  • Campus Center (driveway next to Chapin House)

SHUTTLE FACTS, TIPS, AND COURTESIES:
  • The van will display a flashing yellow light.
  • The shuttle is like a bus, not a taxi. There are specific routes and stops. It is not for your own personal, door-to-door convenience.
  • Yes, driving the shuttle is a work-study job (if you're interested, look it up on JobX!)
  • Don't make annoying demands about the music or opening/closing the windows. The driver usually needs things the way they are in order to stay awake and alert.
  • If the shuttle is driving by and you need a ride, the surest way to get the driver's attention is to jump up and down, wave your arms, and scream like a banshee.
  • Six passengers at a time only.
  • No food, drinks, or smoking in the shuttle.
  • If you need to get to Health Services posthaste, call Public Safety.
  • Don't steal the driver's celery.
  • Don't try to ride shotgun if the driver has put all of their things on the seat. They will move their things if there is no other seat available.
  • To open the sliding door from the inside, press the button on the handle that is at eye level and next to either the driver or passenger's seat belt.
  • To close the sliding door from the outside, pull the handle outwards towards you, then slide the door shut.
  • No indecency in the backseat; it's very distracting to the driver.
  • The driver has the right to ask you to exit the vehicle if you are being disruptive.
  • Above all, be polite to the driver; they are doing you a big favor.

Happy riding!
